ELECTRO pioneers The Human League are coming back to St David’s Hall by popular demand and tickets are on sale now or their show on Saturday, November 26.
Since forming in Sheffield in 1977, the iconic New Wave outfit have sold more than 20 million records and topped the UK album charts with 1981 LP Dare featuring the dancefloor classic Don’t You Want Me?
The single was a huge hit worldwide reaching number one in the UK, USA, Canada and New Zealand. Critical success soon followed with the band receiving the Best British Breakthrough accolade at the 1982 BRIT Awards.
Don't You Want Me was widely regarded as the beginning of the MTV-driven "Second British Invasion of the US", and the group included subsequent international hits with Love Action, Open Your Heart, Mirror Man, Fascination, The Lebanon, Human (a US number one) and Tell Me When.
