AVENGED Sevenfold have announced a 2017 UK tour with a performance at the Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff on Thursday, January 19.

The band achieved success with a string of best-selling albums, including their 2005 platinum breakthrough City Of Evil, 2007’s Avenged Sevenfold, which topped the Billboard Alternative, Hard, and Rock Charts, and two consecutive number ones on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, Nightmare (2010) and their most recent, Hail To The King — achieving diamond, platinum and gold awards for album sales in nearly a dozen countries.

They have also scored a series of Top 10 singles at multiple formats, including Bat Country, Almost Easy, Scream, Nightmare, Welcome To The Family, So Far Away, and Hail To The King, and their latest, Shepherd of Fire.

The band, which hails from Huntington Beach, California, have become known for their live shows, routinely selling out arenas worldwide and headlining music festivals.

Supporting the band on their tour will be Grammy-nominated Disturbed. The band return to the rock arena

after a four-year hiatus with number one album Immortalized. The album, the bands fifth consecutive US number one, has already boasted three huge number one songs The Vengeful One, The Light, and Simon and Garfield's classic The Sound of Silence, which also took the number one spot at both Rock and Mainstream US Rock Radio.

Formed in Chicago in 1996, the multi-platinum Disturbed – David Draiman (vocals), Dan Donegan (guitar), Mike Wengren (drums), and John Moyer (bass) – have scored 13 number one singles at Active Rock Radio.

Also supporting will be In Flames, who will be opening the bill across the run of UK dates.
