THE last two weeks have been very busy at Llandough Primary School. On July 3, the children welcomed the opportunity to record a school CD. It was a busy and nerve wracking day but the children worked very hard and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Congratulations to the Mia and Paige on their winning designs for the CD case. The children are eagerly awaiting the finished product.
On July 9, pupils performed for the annual music night. It was a wonderful evening where children showcased their talent and achievements to an excited crowd. Children from year 2 up to year 6 performed on a range of instruments including recorders, trumpets, piano, flute and violin. The children joined together to perform as a school orchestra and children as young as six sang as part of the school choir. Many thanks to Beth Cawley for her contribution to the night. It was delightful to hear a past pupil returning to the stage with such a beautiful voice. The night was a huge success.
