DINAS Powys WI celebrates its 75th anniversary this year with a number of events, the latest being a Tea Party in August.
President Beti Digby welcomed guests from the Glamorgan Federation of WIs, Vice Chairs Anne Davies and Anne Jones, Federation Secretary June Humphry and WI Advisor Marilyn Tucker. Other guests’ joining members for the afternoon included representatives from Culverhouse Cross and Wenvoe W.I.’s and past members.
Entertainment was provided by Penny Weedon Kerr and her electronic keyboard delicious refreshments were served by the WI committee.
New members are welcome at WI meetings which take place on the first Tuesday of each month at the Lee Hall, Britway Road, Dinas Powys. Tea and coffee are served from 7pm with the meetings starting at 7.30pm.
