MEMBERS of Penarth RVS were welcomed by Cynthia for their Tuesday meeting. The opening hymn was sung and birthday wishes went to Nancy Maunder.

Cynthia reported that Jean Harris is unwell, best wishes were sent to her. Noori entertained members, playing the piano and encouraging everyone to join in the signing. A vote of thanks was given to Noori for an enjoyable afternoon.

They met again on Tuesday, December 16 and birthday greetings were sung to Denise, Jean and Pat.

They were very sorry to hear that Eirlys had broken her pelvis, every good wish was sent to her and they’re missing her poetry.

The afternoon’s entertainment was given by Maureen and Nigel. Nigel played the music and Maureen sang many songs, a vote of thanks was given to them.

Many thanks from members to the committee for the Christmas tea and present, also for the big raffle.

The group meet again on January 13, 2015. Tickets will still be available for the Christmas lunch on January 24 at the Masonic Hall.

They will meet at 12.30pm for lunch at 1pm. The meeting drew to a close with the singing of their departing hymn and wishes to all or a Merry Christmas.
