The following cases were heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates' Court sitting at Cardiff:

Lawrence John Harrington, aged 29, of Plassey Street, Penarth, pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of wine, having a Class A drug in his system and stealing a £50 pedal cycle. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months. He was ordered to pay total costs of £85, £25 compensation and a £20 surcharge.

James Munn, aged 76, of Plas Essyllt, Dinas Powys, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and to driving without insurance. He was fined £120 and his licence endorsed with six penalty points. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.

Rachel Griffiths, aged 41, of Beach Road, Swanbridge, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and to driving without insurance. She was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for six months. She was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
