I NOTE in a recent copy of the Penarth Times that the Vale are restarting the “popular” number 91 bus service from Cosmeston via Cardiff Bay to Cardiff.
The bus service will run from April 30 until September 25 and was reintroduced due to “popular demand” so that “Penarth residents can enjoy the host of summer events on offer at Cardiff Bay this summer”.
Surely it’s not beyond a tiny bit of logic to extend the bus route to come through Sully, turn around at the roundabout at the end of South Road, then return through the village so that Sully residents can also “enjoy the host of summer events on at Cardiff Bay”.
I await the comments from Gareth Stevens, commercial manager at Cardiff Bus Station, also Vale of Glamorgan Council, as to why the service is not extended to Sully.
