DURING the Penarth Sea Angling competition on Sunday, March 15 all the catches came from the beach.
First place went to Ray Starling with a rockling and a codling weighing 4lb and 10ozs.
Second went to Gary Parsons who caught a codling weighing 2lb 5ozs.
Brain Lewis was third with a codling weighing 2lb 40zs.
Robert Evans came in fourth with a 2lb 3oz codling.
Junior member Arvarni Pompy caught a 3oz rockling.
The next competition will take place on Sunday, March 29 fishing from the pier and beach from 1.30pm until 5.30pm.
