PENARTH Sea Angling held their recent competition on Sunday, May 24 with Brian Lewis winning.
He caught three codling from the beach weighing 11lbs. Next was Paul Randell who caught a thornback ray from the pier weighing 4lb 12oz.
Third went to Paul Starling who caught a codling and a dogfish on the beach weighing 3lb 10oz.
In fourth was Lee Williams who had a 3lb 8oz conger eel from the beach.
Junior member Ioan Sexton came next with two silver eels from the beach weighing 11oz.
The next competition is Sunday, May 31, fishing from the pier and beach at 4pm until 8pm.
