'LAZARUS' Dan Biggar has been passed fit for Wales' Six Nations clash with Scotland with boss Warren Gatland naming an unchanged XV.

The same team that ran out for the opening weekend draw in Dublin will take to the field in Cardiff on Saturday.

Biggar has recovered from the blow to his left ankle that forced his early withdrawal while the only change is among the replacements with Gareth Anscombe, a late withdrawal at the Aviva Stadium because of a tight hamstring, preferred on the bench to Alex Cuthbert.

"It's great to be able to name an unchanged side, with Dan coming through, fit and ready to play," said Warren Gatland.

“If you saw him after the game in a boot, on crutches and gone away for a scan and the early prognosis with that, the medics thought it would be three to five weeks.

“To have recovered them he has had a bit of stick and the boys have been calling him Lazarus and wanting his match day fee to go into the pot as a fine.

“It’s good that he has recovered and he really struggled in that first 20 minutes against Ireland. He got the injury right at the start of the game and got through to 20 minutes before we had to replace him.”

Scotland make one change following their Calcutta Cup disappointment against England with Saracens centre Duncan Taylor coming in for the injured Matt Scott.
